Let it go

To all those wondering why I am writing about emotional stuff on a supposedly "fashion" blog, I did name mention "diaries" in the title, which kinda allows me to put forth some random thoughts that some people out there might connect to. If any of you do feel the same way or have something to suggest, please do so.

There are times when depression becomes a way of living. Sometimes there can be a specific reason which you know or you think you know. The other times we are just clueless. You might be at the best of your academic and professional performance, you can have all the emotional support you need and yet you feel you have no purpose.

The most helpful thing at times like this is to have a shoulder to cry on. You might be surprised to know who really cares about you and this will put a totally different scenario in light. You might think it is your boyfriend or girlfriend who can really understand you.It can be a sibling or a relative. I found it in my mom. 

I laughed thinking about all the times i thought she wouldnt understand what i am going through due to the number of years between us. She might not have, but she tried like no one did. 

We often wish people came with placards reading what they truly are rather than what they seem to be. The sweetest of people turn out to be the most backstabbing kind. The most taciturn of all end up being your light in the dark.

Love is a small word with infinite occurrences in this universe. Love for instance is the emotion on a pet when you return home, the pain in your mother's heart when you cry, the anger your friend shows when you ignore them, the blind faith of the destitute in god, the reason soldiers fight for our country and most of all, love is all of these and above all of these. Love is what can never divide but always unite.

One must never lose faith in love, no matter what lay ahead. Only love can provide the will to survive, change and accept. The most unsettling topic for me since i was 5 was 'after death '. What happens the exact moment we die? Do we see a colourful fast recap of all the important moments of our life, do we see our loved ones, do we know we are dying, do we feel regret if any, and the list is endless. 

What do we do about all the hurt stored in us? Do we lock it up, hurt ourselves everyday,only to let it go later? Do we take revenge to feel better? Do we drown ourselves in trying to make things better?

We grow. We not just survive. We win. We win the single sided battle where we are supposed to win. Feel the pain, feel every minute, every second of pain that you have experienced. Feel it not to experience remorse or regret but to feel the pride of surviving the worst part. Then, the best part- move on.

Each and everyone of us has a purpose, a meaning and beauty that is unique. Its meaningless that we change or lose ourselves in impressing someone, fitting in or standing out. We were meant to stand out. 

Haters gonna hate

Has anyone of you actually felt frustrated, depressed and insecure because of someone who doesn't even matter in your life? I am guessing we all have at least once gone through the dreaded phase where our social image is oh-so important that we forget what we are really worth. 

             There is always that one bitch who thinks she is madonna, too good for others. If you guys are anything like me, you would have given many trials at making a decent (however awkward) conversation with that bitch. But that lil prima donna can't contain herself. 

          She can't help but make her distaste towards you apparent to everyone. She has to have her say on every thing you wear to every thing you do. Well, that's when you feel like f**k it!! 

          To all my dear friends who have had similar experiences and who still go through it everyday, remember that nobody in this world is worth making you feel insecure or unworthy. We are all the princesses we were born to be. Just keep your chin up and strut your way through the haters.

          Do what makes you happy. If people don't get you, you are just in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people. There will be better days and happier times. Do your thing and shove your awesomeness in the haters faces. 

         Nobody great has become so without facing resistance and speculation. We are unique and beautiful, we should abstain from trying to fit in though it does feel more safe to be with a crowd than to venture alone. Stay motivated, spread positivity, fulfill your dreams and always help others who need help. :*

Gone are the days when the solution to looking sexy, trendy and cool was wearing heels. Nowadays, one doesn't have to wear the heels from hell to complete the look. Most of us would admit that wearing heels everyday has become more of a job than the treasured luxury it was meant to be. 

Well, this year has taken its toll and has indisputably become the year of sneakers. With celebrities like gigi hadid, kendall jenner, Kylie, and other celebs rocking the sneaker craze by pairing them with both casuals and party wear, this trend is what we all need.

This woman is my personal favorite because she makes her look seem so effortless and chic. it doesnt seem fake and looks sooo practical- which is what we need most of the time! 

In this , she manages to look so sophisticated and casual with such ease.

The most important pair of sneakers that everyone should own are the basic white pair! Choose high or lower platform according to your comfort and you can pair it up wid practically anything. Not jus jeans, you can experiment with skirts, dresses  and maxis.

She is known for her taste in streetstyle and she is often spotted wearing trendy outfits with sneakers.

First thing that pops into my mind when i think of Miranda Kerr is Beauty! How she can wear literally anything and still manage to look so elegant and flaw less .

Even the sneakers themselves get a more elegant touch for having been worn by her. 

She looks ultra cute with the the denim shirt, leather pants and hot pink shoes. All girls who like being girly must own a pair of pink sneakers but do not dress up like barbie!  

So finally, if you don't own proper sneakers, its high time you get some and if you already do, you should consider expanding your collection.

 

hey shawties!!!!

"shawty is a melody in my head..." "shawty get loose" and "shawty wanna ride" and other endless number of songs linking shawtys to hotness, we all know they are not really referring to short people and only we shawtys know how hard it is to find the proper outfit for different occasions! 

          So in this piece... lets discuss about this particular shawty who is ruling the damn world with her fashion. From wearable fashion to dreamable couture , this woman is rocking the trends and setting a few major ones. Lets discuss.... Kim Kardashian !!!! 

          One major reason why i love Kim is because she dresses smart...(recently at least :P ) and she knows what complements her body. So lets decode her style mantras right away: 

1. Monotones 

Wearing the same colours definitely adds a good 2 or 3 inches as kim definitely doesnt look 5'2" here. Black especially, adds height and also adds the illusion of a slimmer body. 

2.Different shades: 

To add dimension to your outfit whilst adding height choose different shades of the same colour and also be sure to wear the lighter colour on the portion of your body that you want highlighted. If you have a small butt you can go for light denim skirt and pair it with a dark blue denim shirt and go all denim.

3. Highlight the Assets: 

If you have a really slim waist , you can wear high waisted pants that fit perfectly at the waist and flair gradually. The long pants are also covering her heels partially which makes her seem naturally tall.

This particular one is one of my favorites. She is highlighting a lot of things and her deficit in height is definitely not one. The colours are so elegant and her waist looks super thin and her butt is to die for.

summer art <3

hey guys...haven't written for a little too long :/ I had to go through the unnecessary necessities that every student has to go through...exams!!!

         So...im done with my exams ...that is, for now! I planned a day of chilling, doing all the things I have been missing on like surfing the net, beauty packs and the best ...painting!! 

   I have been obsessed with heels since i was a kid or wait...maybe since I was born! I saw an illustration on instagram ...got inspired and drew this fellas 

Don't you just love the vibrance of these boots with the kisses and the frills?? so summer! I cant wait to go home and try out new clothes and set my own style for this summer. I also miss all my heels locked up in my room 😘

          I have also been watching old videos of justin and selena 😂 weird right!! I personally think selena is too good for him and i cant believe that kendall is with him!! Whats wrong with these women??

Weekend illustration

Finally...the weekend is here! i took some time to paint n let myself chill :) Was checking out some illustrations on instagram and got inspired! here is wat I did yesterday

I love it when i just start with a blank page and end up with something beautiful ,conjured up by my mind. 

i used water colour paints to kind of get that elegant yet natural look. On the whole it took me around half an hour or so to finish it and I used some glitter for a 3D effect. The final result was this:

bucket list - tv series

The constant time pass of our everyday life... the side by banter when we are alone in our rooms or the one thing that can change our mood -TV SERIES BABY! 

I personally haven't watched many tv series, hence the bucket list! The few i have watched, i have definitely fallen in love with them😅 so here goes the mixed up bucket list of good, old and new tv series.

1.F.R.I.E.N.D.S

It may be because it was the first tv series i watched or becuase of the fact that it's simply THE BEST!!! I have never laughed harder in any other series ever or even cried so hard when they ended! 10 seasons of pure magic! You stop remembering days by what u did and just think about it as "the day when chandler watched shark porn" or "the day when rachel got pregnant" ! If u have friends like them you would cherish them all the more and if you dont you will want nothing more!

2.SHERLOCK

Smart ..wait...super smart ,obnoxious, sexy ,all the characters which would make you forget all about the hunky laconic guys you have been fantasizing about, all in one guy- sherlock! brainporn guys! The music, the taking , the dialogues will take you on a roller coaster which will make you dream about it day and night! The only downside- only 3 seasons are out and trust me when i say you will be heartbroken when you hear that you would have to wait till next year for the 4th season! oh Benedict Cumberbatch... you are soooo british :* and like irene adla says "Smart is the new sexy".

3.KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS 

the fact that their last name even springs up on our predictive text is a proof that this is the era of the kardashians and guys... there is no way around it! Love em Hate em, you cant ignore them! I came across this series pretty much by accident ,when i was a kid and i did not about that "tape" and I kind of got hooked on! If you like fashion, partying and cat fights... it will grow on you and one day you will be defending KimK when someone says "she looks like a cow with her hair so blonde " or "she is so conceited and vain" even though they are mostly true!

4. THE BIG BANG THEORY 

four geeks and three pretty ladies (including amy coz she is pretty ) at the peaks of social awkwardness. Sheldon is so cute at times that you might want to adopt him ❤️ These nerds sure find the love of their lives.

5. 2 BROKE GIRLS 

Caroline Channing , a broke millionaire clueless about the peasant life and Max, a broke waitress who rescues Caroline are the main characters. The story is based on their dreams to put up a cupcake store. From plain sarcasm to racist jokes to special appearances from the Victorias Secret models and KimK , it has everything!!

6.HOUSE

We all have a thing for doctors ...now, what if the doctors are extremely good looking!? That is House! Plethora of the  rarest of rare cases that make u feel like a doctor yourself! only Downside: 8 seasons of 24 episodes each which might get a little boring in between. But don't worry , the ultra cute british doctor

"Chase" will get you love struck.

With an imdb rating of 9.5 , it is needless to say anymore. Sketchily fleshed out ugly wars, insidious families and hot power will apparently make you want more and more of it.
